Primera™ Red Rice

Primera™ Red Rice, known as UKMRC9, has a low glycaemic index (GI) value, which helps to lower and stabilize your after-meal blood glucose level. This rice is therefore suitable for consumption by all, especially for diabetics. The anthocyanins in Primera™ serve as good source of antioxidants, providing a healthy wholegrain option where rice is a staple food.  Primera™ has a slightly nutty flavour and pleasant to taste. UKMRC9 is a high yielding new rice variety with good resistance to blast disease.
